From over at World Net Daily
"Sen. Barack Obama's campaign plastered the entrance to the Western Wall – the holiest site in Judaism – with official campaign posters,"
How arrogant can you get? Are all his advisers idiots? How could you possibly think its a good idea to put up campaign posters at the Holiest Jewish site when you're trying to reassure the Israelis that you're not an anti-Semite who's going to sell them out? And another thing, is every moment of this guy's life designed to be a photo op? A pre dawn visit to the Western Wall? A speech at Berlin's victory column? These aren't things that candidate's do, considering that Israeli's and Germans aren't allowed to vote in our election. That part of our Constitution hasn't "evolved" yet has it? What's the point of even having campaign posters in Hebrew? Is he going to start running adds in Tel Aviv? He's acting like he's already the President, the election is just a formality. Kind of sounds like the attitude a certain Senator from New York who lived in Arkansas and was born in Illinios had back in January. He just puts out a "coronate me bitch" vibe. Talk about hubris. If there is any such thing as karma in the universe, he will lose in a landslide.
Here's a great quote on his speech in Germany by McCain's spokesman:
"While Barack Obama took a premature victory lap today in the heart of Berlin, proclaiming himself a 'citizen of the world,' John McCain continued to make his case to the American citizens who will decide this election."
Yep, couldn't have said it better. I don't see how everyone, even Democrats, doesn't find this completely pretentious and silly. Barry may think he's a "citizen of the world", but I just double checked Article Two of the Constitution, and there's really no loop hole the courts can use to count the votes of non citizens in Berlin.
"Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress"
Which State is Berlin in? Someone needs to tell Barry that the old Electors of the Holy Roman Empire aren't the same ones mentioned in the Constitution. Barry or one of his advisers should probably try reading that document sometime. They'd be able to clear up misconceptions of who he is actually going to represent and when the election and inauguration take place.
Barry should also be warned that its probably illegal to accept foreign donations in a Presidential campaign before he hits up that 1000 Euro a plate luncheon in Prague. I'd hate to see him embarrass himself more than he already has
